Quick! Think of a close friend or family member. Go with the first person you think of. Now designate today as their appreciation day.
Tomorrow choose someone else and so on. Doesn't have to be a close contact, it could be your secretary or your taxi driver.
Just take the time each day to appreciate someone in a subtle way. Pretend you're Oprah and on your show you give out hugs and compliments. "YOU get a hug, and YOU get a hug!" To the taxi driver... "YOU get a tip. AND you get a thank you!"
You don't have to be sh*tting rainbows all day, but you'd be amazed at how much a little appreciation for someone can do for your sense of being and for theirs. xxHUGSxx ;)
